Consider the intent, in a leader's scheme
Of unity or division, in a nation's frame
Where faiths coexist, in Nigeria's complex name.
Buhari's tenure passed, with outcomes to tell
Of governance choices, in a nation's spell
In the court of history, deeds are laid bare
Of leaders' impacts, in Nigeria's plural air.
Nigeria's mosaic stands, with faiths side by side
In diversity's strength, the nation's threads abide
Plans of singular sway, in the end did fail
As unity in multiplicity, in Nigeria's tale prevail.
In the realm of judgment, beyond mortal sight
Almighty God's perspective, in truth's pure light
On leaders' intentions, on deeds done in power's name
In Nigeria's story woven, with threads of faith and claim.
Alas, the plea voiced, in emotion's heavy sway
In the balance of justice, in God's own way
Leaders' hearts and actions, in a higher gaze
In Nigeria's journey onward, through pluralistic mazes.
